PIN HITTER CAMP

Pin Hitter Camp is designed to teach players the basic attacking mechanics from both the outside hitter and right side hitter positions. This camp covers all the aspects of attack training, from arm swing and approach mechanics to transition techniques and shot work/selection. Participants will receive instruction on position-specific techniques used within the Midland Volleyball program.

All participants should bring appropriate on-court training gear (tennis/volleyball shoes, socks, shorts/spandex, knee pads, and water bottle).

CAMP CHECK-IN:

4:30 PM - 4:55 PM in the Wikert Event Center lobby (located at 910 N Clarkson St, Fremont, NE 68025)

INSURANCE:
All campers must carry their own insurance, and the parental consent form must be completed for participation in a Warrior Volleyball Camp. While the staff will make every effort to prevent injuries and accidents, Warrior Volleyball Camps and Midland University will not be responsible for injuries sustained during camp. A fully-equipped training room with an athletic trainer will be available at all times.

This camp will be organized and directed by Micah Rhodes, the assistant head and recruiting coordinator for Midland Volleyball. His resumé includes previous collegiate coaching experience across multiple levels: NCAA Division I (Nebraska-Lincoln, Creighton, Nebraska-Omaha), NCAA Division III (Buena Vista), and NAIA (Bellevue), as well as experience on the girls' club circuit (Premier). Micah was named the 2024 GPAC Assistant Coach of the Year and earned AVCA North Central Region Assistant Coach accolades in 2021; has developed and trained multiple all-conference, all-region, and all-American selections at each level; and coached two different squads to Top 10 statistical finishes in team blocking.
